U.S. Central Command says American forces have now redirected 130 commercial vessels while enforcing the ongoing U.S. naval blockade against Iran, which resumed on July 14 at President Trump’s direction. Three ships that refused to comply were disabled, according to CENTCOM. Over the past 12 weeks, U.S. forces have also destroyed 13 commercial vessels accused of violating the blockade or operating as part of the IRGC’s multibillion-dollar shadow network. CENTCOM Commander Adm. Brad Cooper warned that U.S. forces will act swiftly against any vessel attempting to run the blockade.
