A new Channel 13 poll shows a sharp drop for Prime Minister Netanyahu’s Likud, falling to just 19 seats from 23 last week, while Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar leads with 24. Netanyahu’s coalition bloc falls to 48 seats, compared with 57 for the opposition bloc, while the Arab parties receive 15. Eisenkot also leads Netanyahu on suitability for prime minister, 46% to 35%, with 19% undecided. Ofer Winter’s newly launched Amcha Yisrael party fails to cross the electoral threshold. The 19-seat result is among Likud’s weakest recent showings in Channel 13 polling.
