Several Hamas terrorists crossed overnight into the Yellow Line area in Gaza, stole engineering equipment and returned to the Red Line area without being fired upon, Channel 14’s Hallel Bitton Rosen reports. IDF troops requested permission to open fire, but senior commanders denied authorization. More than 65 crossings into the Yellow Line area were recorded over the past week, with no fire opened in any of them. A senior security official warned: “Hamas is testing us, exactly like before October 7. What happened last night could have ended with a kidnapped soldier.”
