Former NYC Comptroller and self-hating Jew Brad Lander accused Israel of "state-sponsored ethnic cleansing" after being detained during an unauthorized Palestinian olive harvest near Beitar Illit. Lander, who was released with a warning, demanded the release of dozens of other activists. The IDF said the harvest was conducted without required security coordination near an Israeli community, posing a security risk. The military emphasized that approximately 100 properly coordinated olive harvests have already taken place across Judea and Samaria without incident.
