Degel HaTorah chairman MK Moshe Gafni slammed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu over the exclusion of yeshivos from a list of institutions eligible for tax benefits, saying their applications had been left unreviewed for two years. “I stood with Netanyahu all these years, and in return, I did not receive a friendship I can be proud of,” Gafni said, warning of political consequences. UTJ chairman MK Yaakov Asher also criticized Likud for backing the move just days before the elections.
