Israel's Water Authority reported Tuesday that water availability in the Kinneret over the past two years has fallen to its lowest cumulative level in approximately a century. Only about 208 million cubic meters of available water entered the lake during that period. Channel 12 News reports. The historic shortage follows consecutive years of insufficient rainfall in northern Israel, adding pressure to the country's water resources as authorities also address disruptions at desalination facilities.
