TikTok is exploring a feature that would allow users to send money directly to each other through direct messages, Bloomberg reports. The feature remains in early development and is not currently being tested in any market. Code found in TikTok’s U.S. iPhone app suggests users could accept payments, receive transaction updates and attach messages to transfers. There is no guarantee TikTok will ultimately launch the feature.
