A temporary shul has been constructed in Beit Shemesh to replace a shul destroyed when an Iranian missile struck the city, allowing mispallelim to return to a regular makom tefillah shortly before Rosh Hashanah. The original Tiferet Yisrael shul was destroyed in the deadly missile attack that also struck the shelter beneath the building. The temporary structure is intended to serve the kehilla while work proceeds toward a permanent replacement.
