President Trump said he would be open to temporarily withdrawing Todd Blanche’s nomination for a federal judgeship in North Carolina if the move helps resolve opposition from Republican Senators John Cornyn and Thom Tillis. Trump said Blanche, currently serving as solicitor general, could be renominated after the senators leave office. Both senators have indicated they will not support the nomination, preventing it from moving forward.
