OpenAI is launching ChatGPT for Teens, a new learning-focused version of ChatGPT with additional safeguards for younger users. The new experience includes Study Mode, which guides students through problems rather than simply providing answers. Parents can schedule Study Hours that automatically activate the feature during homework time, while expanded safety tools can alert parents by text, email or push notification in certain serious situations — without giving them access to their teen’s conversations.
