Rishon L'Tzion Hagaon HaRav Yitzchak Yosef issued a special letter Monday addressing the military draft crisis, acknowledging the distress of yeshiva bochurim facing arrests and restrictions. HaRav Yosef said securing the legal status of Bnei Torah must take priority over other political matters and disclosed that clear commitments had been received from relevant officials regarding the issue.
