Western diplomatic sources told Al-Sharqiya that Iraq has been warned it could face designation as a state sponsor of terrorism after drone attacks on Saudi Arabia’s East-West oil pipeline were traced to Iraq’s Maysan Governorate. Baghdad was reportedly told to identify and prosecute those responsible or risk the designation.
