The oil tanker EL GAIA is being towed to a port in Oman after catching fire near the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM says Iran struck the tanker with a missile last month and again with a drone this weekend, while Iran claims the vessel hit a naval mine after entering a prohibited zone. Oman says 23 crew members were evacuated and received medical care, while two others remain missing. The tanker had been operating with its AIS transponder switched off for several days before the incident.
