Following his visit to Israel, U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth praised American military personnel serving under CENTCOM, saying he met with pilots, aerial refueling crews, and maintenance personnel during his trip. Hegseth said the troops have been carrying out “historic work” to ensure Iran never obtains a nuclear weapon, calling American service members “second to none” and “the best of our country.”
