*BREAKING:* Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz announce that the IDF has now destroyed Hezbollah’s underground infrastructure beneath the Ali Taher Ridge, completing what they describe as the establishment of Israel’s security zone in southern Lebanon. The two said the infrastructure was built over two decades with Iranian funding and planning and was intended to support Hezbollah’s planned conquest of the Galilee, while providing observation and fire control over Metula and Kiryat Shmona. The IDF will remain in the security zone to prevent Hezbollah from returning and rebuilding its capabilities.
