Only one in three Americans supports the war against Iran, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll, marking the lowest level recorded since the conflict’s early days. The survey found that 69% of Americans, including four in 10 Republicans, believe President Trump has not clearly explained the goals of U.S. military involvement in Iran. Trump’s overall approval rating rose slightly to 37%, up three percentage points from last month. Among independent registered voters, Democrats also held an advantage over Republicans on both congressional preference and economic policy.
