Firefighters and rescue crews from the Rishon LeZion station responded overnight to a truck fire on southbound Highway 4 near the Holot Interchange, following a collision between a truck and a private vehicle. Upon arrival, crews extinguished the blaze and rescued the truck driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. Firefighters later brought the fire under control and completed final extinguishing operations.
