Three Givati soldiers who are Hesder yeshiva students were sentenced Sunday night to 10 days in military prison after refusing to enter a Namer armored vehicle together with a female paramedic. The soldiers said the incident did not involve an emergency or life-saving situation. A source familiar with the incident told Walla that conditions inside the Namer were so cramped that it would be difficult for a religious soldier to avoid physical contact with a female soldier during the ride.
