An Israeli drone struck a vehicle near Beit Jinn in southwestern Syria, about 10 km from the Golan border. The IDF said the strike targeted Ammar Said Hamada, a former officer in the Assad regime’s 4th Division, who was advancing plans for an imminent IED attack that posed an immediate threat to IDF forces. Syria condemned the strike as a “flagrant violation of sovereignty.” The IDF said it will continue operating against threats to its forces and Israeli civilians.
