Iran has transferred $200 million to Hezbollah to provide financial assistance to Lebanese families displaced by the ongoing war with Israel, the first major such aid since the war began, Reuters reports. The funds are expected to provide initial payments of about $3,000 per family, with some 50,000 families prioritized. The money was transferred through intermediaries who charged roughly four times their normal fees due to the heightened risks of moving Iranian funds to Hezbollah.
