WhatsApp is rolling out a long-awaited feature allowing users to schedule messages to be sent automatically at a specific date and time. The feature supports text messages, photos, videos, and links in both private and group chats. Users can schedule messages by pressing and holding the send button, choosing a delivery time anywhere from 10 minutes to two weeks in advance. Messages will be sent automatically even if the phone is offline. The feature is currently available to select Android beta testers and is expected to expand to more users in the coming weeks.
