Jordan’s King Abdullah II used his UN General Assembly address to sharply attack Israel’s conduct in Gaza, while crediting President Trump with pushing for a path to end the war. Abdullah accused the Israeli government of repeatedly “moving the goalposts,” continuing attacks and destruction while confining Palestinians to roughly a third of Gaza. He said the situation could no longer be characterized as temporary military measures, accusing Israel of attempting to “erase Palestinian life” and impose a new territorial reality in Gaza.
