United Torah Judaism chairman MK Yaakov Asher sharply condemned Tuesday’s detention of 25 Chabad yeshiva bochurim at Ben Gurion Airport, accusing authorities of deliberately escalating arrests to interfere with next week’s Knesset elections. The bochurim were detained after returning from a year of learning at the central Chabad yeshiva in Brooklyn, sparking outrage across the Charedi community.
