The IDF eliminated Hamas commander Muhammad Muhsen Nimr Yazji in Gaza City on Monday. Yazji, a commander in Hamas’s Shati Battalion, was involved in holding Israeli hostages captive during the war, including Emily Damari, Romi Gonen and Matan Angrest. In a separate strike Tuesday in Gaza City’s Sabra neighborhood, the IDF eliminated Hamas terrorist Muhammad Fawzi Muhammad Awad Gamal. The IDF said both terrorists had recently been involved in planning attacks against Israeli troops and civilians and rebuilding Hamas’s capabilities in violation of the ceasefire.
