Yemeni government forces launched a counteroffensive against the Iran-backed Houthis along Yemen’s Red Sea coast following the terrorists’ dramatic capture of Mocha and strategic territory around the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. More than 82,000 people have been displaced since the beginning of September as the fighting intensifies, while more than 2,000 Yemenis have crossed into Djibouti. The Houthi advance has placed the terror group dangerously close to one of the world’s most important shipping routes.
