Several right-wing ministers and Knesset members are demanding that votes cast for the Arab Ra’am party be disqualified following allegations of election fraud and vote-buying in the Negev. The lawmakers have called on the Central Elections Committee and Shin Bet to investigate the allegations. The demand follows the arrest of three suspects after police discovered envelopes containing cash alongside Ra’am voting slips. Investigators suspect the money was intended to purchase votes. The allegations remain under investigation, and no decision has been made to invalidate any votes.
