Chareidi philanthropists have raised and distributed more than 500 million shekels to yeshivos and avreichim over the past year and a half, replacing state funding that was halted due to sanctions. Keren Olam HaTorah distributed funds to some 1,450 institutions, with estimates that another 200 million shekels has since been distributed.
