France is preparing to impose partial curfews in several areas after massive weekend protests descended into violent riots in Paris, Marseille and other cities. More than 500,000 people participated in demonstrations across the country. Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced the planned restrictions as President Emmanuel Macron urged calm following the unrest.
