Israeli security forces eliminated Farah Hamed, a Hamas military wing terrorist responsible for multiple deadly attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers, in a strike in the central Gaza Strip on Wednesday. Hamed previously served as a senior operative in Hamas’ “West Bank Headquarters,” advanced terror attacks in Judea and Samaria, and was part of the Silwad cell. He also participated in the October 2003 shooting attack in Ein Yabrud that killed three IDF soldiers. Hamed was released to Gaza in the 2011 Shalit prisoner exchange and later continued recruiting and directing Hamas terrorists to carry out attacks.
