Israel’s Shin Bet, police and IDF announced that an Israeli soldier has been arrested and indicted for allegedly spying for Iran for nearly a year, providing sensitive military intelligence in exchange for cryptocurrency payments. The soldier reportedly shared information on military bases, troop readiness, fellow soldiers and commanders, and photographed Israeli missile interceptors and American refueling aircraft stationed in Israel. Investigators say his Iranian handler offered him $200,000 to travel to Iran. The soldier was arrested in September and remains in military custody, with his detention extended until November 12.
