Former Biden administration Middle East coordinator Brett McGurk says neither the United States nor Israel had an intelligence warning that Hamas was preparing the October 7 massacre, rejecting claims that officials had advance knowledge of the attack. McGurk said U.S. intelligence agencies had no warning of what was coming and that Israeli officials told Washington they had no actionable warning either.
