Oman has rejected an Iranian proposal to jointly charge commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz, despite Tehran previously suggesting that such an arrangement was being developed, the NYP reports. A U.S. official said the terms of any potential revenue-sharing arrangement had also never been finalized.
