Six men were indicted and placed in pretrial detention in Paris over the weekend as part of an antiterrorism investigation into a suspected Islamist attack targeting a synagogue in Sarcelles, north of Paris. The suspects are believed to have helped transport a vehicle or supply weapons found inside it, including a Kalashnikov-style rifle and a Beretta handgun. Prosecutors said investigators have not yet established whether the six knew the weapons were connected to the suspected terrorist plot.
