Israeli President Isaac Herzog said President Trump is “correct” about the threat posed by Tehran, warning that Iran cannot be allowed to acquire nuclear capabilities. “We are dealing with an empire of evil” seeking to radicalize the world, conquer the free world and extend its reach to Europe and the United States, he said. Herzog stressed that those concerns extend beyond Israel, saying the “entire region feels the same,” whether leaders express their views publicly or behind closed doors.
