Israel’s Ambassador to the UAE, Yossi Shelley, says Kuwait could join the Abraham Accords within the next six months, in what would mark a major expansion of Israel’s normalization agreements in the Gulf, i24 News reports. Shelley made the prediction Tuesday on the sixth anniversary of the Abraham Accords, but provided no further details. Kuwait has long resisted normalization with Israel and has significant domestic opposition to such a move.
