A man who lost his arm in a construction accident is becoming the first U.S. patient to get a bionic arm connected directly to his bone, muscles and nerves.
He'll control it with his own nerve signals, and the arm is designed to send feeling back so touch feels like it's coming from the missing hand.
The implant surgery is done. Training with the full arm begins over the coming months.
