UK: The Green Party has formally adopted a policy declaring Zionism a form of racism and establishing the party as anti-Zionist. Members backed the motion by 1,022 votes to 813 at the party conference in Brighton. It states that Zionism should be “treated as any other form of racism”. The motion also calls for a single state of Palestine to be established with "equal rights for all" - including Jewish people. Members also rejected an amendment intended to protect Jewish members from being targeted over affiliation with synagogues or Jewish organisations that identify as Zionist. Join EJN:
