UK: Swedish climate activist and academic Andreas Malm has been barred from entering Britain ahead of a planned appearance alongside a co-founder of the banned group Palestine Action. The Home Office cancelled Malm’s electronic travel authorisation, saying his presence in the UK was not considered conducive to the public good. Malm was due to speak alongside Palestine Action co-founder Huda Ammori at a London event next week, coinciding with a Supreme Court challenge to the group’s designation as a terrorist organisation.
