Middle East: Iran has launched missile and drone attacks against US targets in Jordan, Kuwait, Iraq and Bahrain after American forces resumed strikes against Iran on Tuesday. The Iranian Red Crescent said five people, including a child, were killed and around 50 injured when a US strike hit a home where a wedding celebration was taking place in Sirik, southern Iran. The US military said it was aware of the reports but that it never targeted civilians. Jordan said 13 Iranian ballistic missiles entered its airspace, with 10 intercepted and three falling in remote areas. No deaths or injuries were reported. Kuwait and Bahrain also said their air defences responded to Iranian attacks, while Iran’s Revolutionary Guards claimed to have struck US facilities in Iraq’s Kurdistan region.
