The MTA has suspended its EAGLE fare enforcement teams across New York City's bus system following two incidents involving physical confrontations with passengers. MTA Chairman Janno Lieber announced Thursday that the teams will remain off duty while the agency conducts a comprehensive review of their procedures, conduct, and reporting practices. The decision follows concerns that agency leadership was not properly informed about the incidents.
