*Rioters Give Chinese Glass Company the Ultimate Free Ad* A chaotic scene of civil unrest in Paris, France—widely reported to be an attack on a luxury Louis Vuitton storefront—inadvertently turned into the ultimate free advertisement for a Chinese manufacturer after the building's impact-resistant glass successfully withstood a relentless barrage of paving stones, metal pipes, and shopping carts from a mob of masked rioters. The high-security glass was claimed online by Hengxinfeng Special-Glass Co. Ltd., a privately held, non-publicly traded manufacturer based in China's Henan Province that specializes in explosion-proof, bullet-resistant, and smash-resistant laminated glass. Because Hengxinfeng is a private entity, it does not have publicly traded stock, but the company primarily supplies heavy-duty security glass to banks, high-end jewelry stores, museums, and luxury retail storefronts worldwide.
